By-Laws

Dues

1.  Annual Dues of one hundred dollars ($100.00) from each club, organization, or

    association.

 

Elections

1.  Elections will be held every two (2) years for the offices of ACM.  Nominations will

    be in September.  Elections will be in November.  Newly elected officers will be

    placed in their offices in January.

 

Officers

1.  Elected officers of the Board of Advisors shall be:  Chairman, Vice Chairman,

    Secretary, Treasurer, Sgt-at-Arm, and Chaplain.

 

2.  A Coalition Liaison shall be appointed by the Coalition and recognized by the ACM

    Board of Advisors.

 

3.  Representatives from each member club or organization can hold no more than one

    office.

 

4.  In the event that an officer cannot fulfill his duties, an interim officer will be

    appointed by the Board for the remainder of that officer’s term.

 

Meetings

1.  Meetings shall follow “Robert’s Rules of Order.”

 

2.  Meetings shall open with the “Pledge of Allegiance” and a prayer.  Each meeting will

    also close with a prayer.

 

3.  Meetings will be held on the first Saturday of every other month at 2:00 pm.  This will

    begin January, 2008.  A representative from each club, organization, association, and

    the AIM attorney should be in attendance.  The Board shall rotate the meeting

    locations around the state.  The secretary shall notify membership of each upcoming

    meeting.

 

Voting

1.  Each club or organization may appoint a representative to vote at the meetings.  The

    club or organization must be in good standing as approved by the Board of Advisors.

     Voting will be made by a showing of a voting device received by the representative

    when signing in before the meeting begins.

 

2.  Person(s) having multi-membership may only represent one club or organization.

 

3.  One vote per member club or organization in good standing.  The members of the

    Board of Advisors will have no vote.  In the event that a member club or organization

    does not have a representative present, the board member from that club or

    organization will be allowed to vote.

 

Monies

1.  ACM shall have an account for dues and appropriated monies.  The account will need

    at least two (2) signatures.  The account shall be the responsibility of the elected

    treasurer.  The ACM account will be audited at the discretion of the Board of Advisors

    or at the start of a new term of officers.

 

2.  Monies shall be spent or appropriated by the Board of ACM for projects and

    operations of the ACM with full disclosure and accountability to the full membership

    of the ACM.

 

3.  No two members of any one household shall have check signing abilities.

 

Amendments to By-Laws

1.  The ACM shall not make any rules that alienate any club or organization.  All

    motorcycle clubs, organizations, and associations are welcome.

 

2.  By-laws will be reviewed and amendments added in writing annually.

 

Annual NCOM Convention

1.  The ACM shall send one representative to the convention.

 

2.  Reasonable expenses will be approved by the Board of Advisors and paid by the

    ACM.

 

Discipline

1.  Each member club or organization shall be responsible for their members and/or their

    members’ actions.

 

 

 

Amendments:

1. All future groups/organizations seeking membership shall go through an approval process.

A. Petition/apply for membership

B. Approved by the Board of Advisors

C. All petitioners are on probation for a period of 60 days beginning at the next regularly scheduled meeting after the membership was requested.

D. Approval by the Members of the Board after probation.
